None of the above. All are myths!
What?! Foil for shielding? Yes, I said foil and you'll want to see this for yourself!
You say you "DON'T COOK"! You just use the microwave for reheating & defrosting. WELL TODAY IS YOUR LUCKY DAY ! I'm sure you have more questions about Microwaving.

of your microwave,
how to use your power levels and the proper arrangement

MICROWAVE,
"THE WISE WAY TO COOK"
Why do I call
microwave cooking, "The wise way to cook?"
I have been an owl collector for
25 years. The owl is my lucky mascot.
I know how to cook on
top of the stove, in the oven, on the grill, or in my wood-burning
stove.
I prefer to do 80 - 90% of my cooking or reheating in the microwave
for these reasons:
Convienient With a Microwave oven you can create a kitchen any where there is electricity.
You can Save: • Time in cooking – Food cooks in approximately ¼ of oven time and at least ½ of stove top cooking • Time in cleaning – Cook in the same dishes you serve in and reheat in. • Time in defrosting • Time in Re-heating – with almost any kind of container. • Nutrients in you vegetables – Since you don’t need to add water, vegetables steam in their own juices and don’t loose any nutrients. • Your health – By reducing or eliminating the amount of salt and fat used in cooking.
